Job Description:

OVERALL PURPOSE

The Onboarding Analyst will oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments to prepare and execute a comprehensive onboarding program and serving as the main point of contact for new hires. The Onboarding Analyst plays a critical role in helping new employees acclimate to the company culture and their new roles quickly and efficiently.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Onboarding Process Management:

  • Design, develop, and implement an effective onboarding program that aligns with company goals.
  • Coordinate and schedule orientation sessions, training programs, and meet-and-greet events.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork, including contracts, tax forms, and benefits enrollment, is completed and filed appropriately.

New Hire Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees from offer acceptance, collection of pre-employment requirements, ensuring completion of pre-employment medical exam and background verification, through the completion of their onboarding period.
  • Communicate company policies, procedures, and resources to new hires.
  • Address any questions or concerns new employees may have during the onboarding process.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with HR, IT, and department managers to ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and accounts are set up for new hires before they start.
  • Coordinate with other HR team members to continuously improve the onboarding experience.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is accurate and complies with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain records of completed training and onboarding activities.
  • Regularly update onboarding materials to reflect changes in company policy or industry regulations.
  • Acts as primary point of contact during audits.

Other Task that may be assigned from time to time.

Schedule: Late Mid-Shift

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday).
  • Familiarity with pre-employment requirements and background verification process.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years proven experience in HR, employee onboarding, or a similar role (preferably in BPO or global shared services organizations).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with various levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (pivot, h-lookup, v-lookup).
