IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

As Head of Brand & Content at Foods Connected, you will define and lead the brand and content strategy for a scaling B2B SaaS business operating in the global food industry. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges strategic thinking with creative execution.

You will be responsible for building and protecting the Foods Connected brand across key markets, developing a content engine that drives awareness, pipeline, and product adoption, and leading a team that produces work that stands out in a genuinely highly competitive landscape. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Growth Marketing, Sales, and Account Management to ensure our brand and messaging reflects the value we deliver to customers worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Brand Strategy & Identity – 35%

  • Own and evolve the Foods Connected brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints from product UI and sales collateral to events and social media.
  • Define and articulate brand positioning in the B2B SaaS and food technology space, differentiating Foods Connected from competitors globally.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines that enable internal teams and external partners to communicate consistently at scale.
  • Champion the brand internally, acting as a centre of excellence for visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging frameworks.
  • Lead brand campaigns that build awareness and credibility with target audiences across Europe, North America, APAC, and emerging markets.

Content Strategy & Execution – 40%

  • Build and execute a global content strategy that supports the full customer lifecycle — from awareness and demand generation through to onboarding and retention.
  • Develop content programmes tailored for diverse international audiences, accounting for regional nuances in messaging, channel preferences, and regulatory context.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content across multiple formats: long-form thought leadership, product-focused content, case studies, video, webinars, email, and social.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to develop sales enablement content, pitch decks, one-pagers, and customer-facing materials that reflect the Foods Connected brand.
  • Establish a content operations framework that ensures consistent, high-quality output across all channels.
  • Use data and performance analytics to continuously optimise content strategy, refining what works and scaling successful formats.
  • Partner with industry experts and research vendors to support the execution of our brand and content strategy.

Creative Production & Tooling – 15%

  • Lead creative production using best-in-class design tools, including Canva (for scalable, on brand template systems) and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) for premium brand and campaign assets.
  • Build and maintain a scalable content production workflow, enabling the broader team to create on-brand assets independently using governed Canva templates.
  • Oversee video and multimedia content production for product launches, customer stories, and event materials.
    • Manage agency and freelance relationships to extend capacity for design, video, and
    specialist content creation.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration – 10%

  • Build, lead, and mentor a growing Brand & Content team, creating a high-performance culture  with clear goals and development pathways.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to align content and campaigns with product launches, feature releases, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure brand and content assets are actively used and valued in the sales process.
  • Partner with the Digital/Demand Generation team to ensure brand-consistent execution across paid, organic, and email channels.

What you need to know about the Belfast Tech Scene

If asked to name the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might not say Belfast. Similarly, if asked to name Europe's leading destination for foreign direct investment in new software development, Belfast might not come to mind. Yet, both are true. The city has emerged as a tech powerhouse, recently ranked among the best in the U.K. for tech careers — especially for software developers. It also leads the U.K. with the highest percentage of software development jobs advertised.
