The EMEA Rates Exotics business is responsible for trading a wide array of interest rate products, spanning from vanilla derivatives to advanced, complex instruments. This includes structured payouts, correlation products, and options, along with innovative solutions such as range accruals, CMS-based structures, swaptions, and hybrid products tailored to meet sophisticated client needs in a dynamic market landscape.
As Vice President in the EMEA Rates Product Control team, you will oversee the daily operations and performance of the Rates Product Control function, covering a broad range of products including government and corporate bonds, interest rate swaps, futures, options, structured notes, and exotics. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to the team, ensuring high standards of accuracy, control, and compliance are maintained. You will lead strategic projects and process improvements across the Rates products.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the Rates Product Control team, ensuring effective execution of daily BAU activities and professional development of team members.
- Act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Market Risk, Finance, and other support functions, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency, and standardization, leveraging new technologies and best practices.
- Manage and deliver key projects to enhance product control processes, systems, and controls across all Rates products.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support successful project delivery and adoption of new processes.
- Design and implement robust control frameworks to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance across Rates products.
- Provide insight and analysis on business performance, control environment, and emerging risks to inform decision-making.
- Oversee the creation of project documentation, process maps, and training materials to support new initiatives.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and report on key milestones to senior management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Significant experience in Product Control, Finance, or related areas within investment banking.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of Rates products, including swaps, bonds, futures, options, structured notes, and exotics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record in project management, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, PMP).
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA coding preferred).
